There is no pedestrian crosswalk here at the offramp and there is no safe way to walk from James to State Street. This becomes a problem as the district has now opened.
They are placing down "teeth" the indicate that the cars should slow when making this turn, however, I am not sure this will help pedestrians cross safely. Maybe this is wishful thinking, but before they fully mark down the teeth they could make this into an actual crosswalk with a yield sign!
The other way to inexpensively solve this problem and get peds totally out of traffic is to complete the Mill river trail to State Street. Citizens could do this with clippers and machetes in a few hours!
