A friend of mine who uses a power wheelchair went to this restaurant, and although the restaurant has a lift, which is supposedly for the use of disabled customers, they refused to allow her to use it. Is this legal? The restaurant claimed it was an issue of weight, but the lift is rated up to 495 lbs, my friend weighs probably less than 100 pounds and a power wheelchair weighs less than 200 pounds so obviously this is crap.
